How long before my site appears on search engines?
This depends on the type of submission. Submit Express paid inclusion means you should be listed on those search engines within 5 working days. Submit Basic can get you listed quickly, however this is in the hands of the search engines and can take time.
When do I have to renew?
Although there is absolutely no obligation we recommend renewing once per year. If you are listed on search engines like Google, Yahoo and so on, it is very unlikely that they will remove your listing without good reason as long as your website is still live. However, Submit Professional's paid inclusion will expire after one year. When the time comes, we will contact you to ask if you would like to renew the package.
Will my entire site be submitted or just one page?
We would normally submit your Home Page, however, search engines will navigate through your entire website and should index every page.
Will my website be close to the top, or several pages down?
This depends on the amount of competition in your market. For example if you're selling mobile telephones you'll be competing with thousands of other websites for position, but if you're in the antique watch business you have a better chance of a high natural listing. It is possible to optimise your website to get a better chance at a high listing using search engine optimisation. If you have a commercial interest in the site it's also possible to pay for a high positions on search engines using Performance Listings.
Are there any additional costs?
No, there are no hidden or additional costs. It is also entirely your choice whether or not you wish to renew after your first year.
