		<description>I agree 100%.  I think the resistance to social media marketing is in people&#039;s expectations.  The main reason is, as you describe in your post - to develop and increase brand awareness.  I also believe that today&#039;s consumer is very different than yesterday&#039;s consumer.  They have access to much more information right from their keyboards, and they will, as you state, check out your company before making a purchase.  If they don&#039;t see anything about person A&#039;s product/service, they will see plenty about person B, C, D, etc.  Thanks for the post :)</description>
